Anxiety, apathy, or panic attacks
Constant worry, feeling like "something bad
will happen." Hard to relax and be present.
In my work, I integrate a variety of methods — from Emotionally focused therapy (EFT) to body-oriented and process-oriented therapy. Each person is unique, so I tailor the process to my clients’ pace, emotional state, and goals.
Ongoing stress at work or in personal life
I'm always 'on', with no pause button for my mind or body. There's no joy left in life, and I forgot how to rest and relax.
Loss of a loved one, breakup, end of an important chapter. Pain that's hard to process alone.
Grief, loss, separation, or divorce
Conflicts, misunderstandings, loneliness together. You crave closeness, but something blocks it.

Lack of self-esteem and loneliness

I'm not good enough." You criticise yourself and compare to others and always come up short.

A desire to change your life for the better
I know I'm capable of more, but old habits keep pulling me back. I want to wake up excited about my life, not just tolerating it.
Career difficulties
Work drains you completely, recovery doesn't happen. What used to be fulfilling now feels empty and meaningless.
How we can

together

work

We are not about fixing what’s broken — it's about coming back to yourself, restoring connection, and learning to live with more ease, clarity, and joy.
I offer different formats to work together:
The people whose words you see here have done courageous inner work. They have faced difficult emotions, questioned long-held beliefs, and allowed themselves to grow beyond old limitations.

Their reflections speak not only about relief, but about deeper clarity, self-trust, and emotional maturity.
I feel honored to walk alongside my clients in these transformative moments and to support them as they build more conscious, fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.

Working with burn-out and loss of direction

Individual therapy
Jefferson Sousa (Poland)
Project Manager at large multinational Company
I've been working with Ekaterina (Kate Riora) for the past seven months and it has been a very interesting experience.
Our cooperation started in a place where I felt lost and burned out, and our conversations were fruitful from the very first session.
With the right questions, Kate always managed to make me think and help me find my solutions. With her support, I was able to put together a plan to change my situation, and looking back six months, I can see how important her contribution was for me to achieve the change I needed in my life.
Of all the therapists I've worked with, Kate is the one who, in my opinion, possesses the most important traits of a therapist. She's empathetic, a good listener, open-minded, and, most importantly, I can speak freely without fear of judgment. Her vast background is also a great addition to the role of therapist; she has experienced most of the problems I have faced in my life.
Even though I can consider my initial problem as solved, I intend to keep meeting with her, regardless of having any issues to talk about she's a person I grew very fond of, and talking to her helps me in different ways.
Resolving issues at work, in communication with management and subordinates

I have contacted Ekaterina because I was experiencing difficulties at work with colleagues and upper management. I gave up easily my opinion if I was pushed and convinced by others.
In our therapy process we worked on my fear of conflict and I learnt to negotiate in a better way, while listening to others’ needs. Ekaterina uses variety of techniques that help to gain clarity on a mental level and work with the body in order to feel more confidence. In addition, I attended Ekaterina's training on Emotional Intelligence at PWC, I highly recommend Ekaterina as a life coach and therapist!
Resolving relationship issues in a couple

Couples’therapy
Maria and Alexander, married couple
Meeting Katya and starting family therapy have become one of the most important processes for us this year. And although not all of our sessions were pleasant, we always had a very secure feeling that Katya knows what she is doing and we can just trust her. It was clear that we were going in the right direction. With time our relationship in a couple has become more secure and more intimate. Now we are more equipped to cope with difficult situations on our own. Our sex life was reborn again. We would like to express deep gratitude to Katya for her work with us and for her warm heart.
Dealing with infidelity
Couples’therapy
Alina and Sergey, 15 years in marriage (Moscow, Russia)
We have contacted Katya in a very difficult situation. My wife has discovered that I have relationship on the side. We have 2 children and more than 15 years of relationship. I was astonished and terrified that I might loose all of that. Katya helped me to understand reasons behind my affair and we spent hours dealing with my wifes’ feelings of anger and betrayal. Somehow with every session we received more confidence about our future together, and although the process was not easy, it gave a lot of hope. Within 6 months we could put this story behind. And I see that my wife was able to restore her trust in me. Moreover, our sex life came back and now we are able to talk about many complex issues that seemed impossible prior to the therapy.
Healing with the power of water
Water therapy and somatic practices

Whenever someone asks me to recommend a psychologist, I always say - go to Katya.
But now I’ll be recommending her not only as a great psychologist, but also as a true magician - a Watsu (water therapy) practitioner.
Honestly, it’s something unreal.
If I had known earlier that Katya and Watsu existed, my husband would’ve lived his life without ever arguing with me. 😂
Just kidding, life without a little drama would be boring anyway!
I don’t know how water therapy works for others, but for me it was incredible: my anxiety level went down, it became much easier to relax, even my back somehow straightened up.
And, like in a cartoon, a new kind of pleasant flexibility appeared — in body and in mood.
If anyone’s wondering how to please their inner dolphin, go and try this technique!
It’s been a week since our session, and I still dream that I’m floating — completely happy.
And in real life, I feel childlike joy. 💦✨
There really is such a gift — to heal people’s souls through the body.
And Katya truly has this gift. 💙

Dealing with separation and loss of the relationship
Individual therapy
Dennis (37 years old, Budapest)
I came to Ekaterina, when my wife made a decision to split with me. I was shocked and distressed. I could not work or eat. I also could not discuss this situation with any of my friends. Ekaterina helped me understand what happened in marriage and how for years I was trying to fix something alone. She did not emphasize my mistakes, but rather explored my strategies. Slowly I came to feeling self-esteem again and that my life would be ruined by this event. I even found the strength to have a fruitful discussion with my wife about the reasons for separation. Now I feel better and more hopeful that I am able to deal with life and still be a good father to our son.
